Magical Moments
After weeks of procrastination, I found my inspiration within. Hosted a poetry workshop on labels and identity that drew record attendance in 7 languages. Living isn't a theorem to solve—it's a situation to experience.

The Camino was life-changing, teaching me home is found in connections and inner peace. After 397km, I discovered friends, strength, and resilience. Thanks to The Flight School for this transformative journey—the walk continues...

After facing my fear of drowning, I finally learned to swim. The key wasn't effort but surrender—trusting the water and myself. Learning to hold just enough breath instead of fighting against the water taught me to let go of what I cannot control.

Lost in Bangkok, I found connection with a 75-year-old monk who invited me to pray, taught me Buddhist practices, and made me his disciple for a morning ritual. Walking the city at dawn, watching people give despite having little, I realized travel isn't about making a difference—it's about exploring with an open heart.

During my two-week tech retreat, I experienced unprecedented peace away from my 'toxic best friend'—my phone. Despite initial challenges transitioning from constant connectivity to solitude, I found beauty in journaling, reflection, and silence. This period also deepened my spirituality as I reconnected with core values and realized that true peace comes from within, not external circumstances.

I've always been drawn to search and rescue medicine—the risks fascinate rather than scare me. This passion drives me to attend countless disaster medicine trainings. Recently, I took a significant step by joining the Malaysian Civil Defence Force, moving closer to my dream of humanitarian disaster response. Though I've met basic requirements, qualifying for their elite UN-certified team will require intense physical and mental preparation alongside my academic studies—a challenge I'm embracing wholeheartedly.

I've been in India for a month now, and am feeling happier in my role at Inqui-Lab where I'm teaching tech to low-income kids. I'm rediscovering creativity through crafts while learning to embrace solitude. I was initially overwhelmed by India's chaos, but I'm finding beauty by opening my heart to the experience.

Reflecting on waiting and hope, I realized the Spanish word 'esperanza' (hope) contains 'esperar' (to wait). This changed everything for me. Maybe hope isn't some grand destination I'm chasing, but simply the act of showing up day after day. Waiting is hard when you don't know what for or how long, but finding hope in the mundane routine feels more achievable than searching for some perfect feeling.
