Intuition

Cultivating inner knowing

A question currently animating me about the inner life/spirit is:

How can I live and be alive?

A question currently animating me about the outer world/universe/multiverse is:

How can I exchange anywhere?

The practices I’m finding most helpful at the moment are:

Journaling, Rest, Creating Music/Art

A moment I noticed my inner light kindled this month was:

When I was coaching at a LALA Camp and supporting currently enrolled students, I felt deeply connected to that initial stage of the journey — I saw my own path reflected in theirs: the excitement, the eagerness to grow, and the openness to dive into self-awareness and learning.

A moment I noticed my inner light dwindled this month was:

When I started comparing myself to others inside and outside The Flight School. Even knowing everyone has their own path, it hurt to see myself outside places I wished to be. It triggered my impostor syndrome, saying I don't deserve to live the world and its beautiful experiences

Courage

Aligning action

Assumptions I'm examining right now are:

Success, Happiness

I originally assumed:

I used to think that success itself conditioned happiness in real life. When you get everything you want, when you thrive as the best, when you feel bigger than you are, you're really happy. I thought that happiness lay in achievements, not in events. That's how capitalism taught

These assumptions are changing:

Now I sense that happiness is more about trivial experiences in everyday life than just big one-off achievements. Success is important and I can experience it in many different ways. It's okay if my success comes from who I really am, and not from a performative form of myself.

A moment I stepped out of my comfort zone this month was:

I love fashion, but there are some clothes that I don't feel 100% comfy wearing because of my body insecurities. Recently, I've been trying to challenge myself, and I wore a cropped tank top to an outfit, and it made me feel stunning. That's a simple example, but it meant a lot!

Compassion

Engaged Empathy

A peer in The Flight School community I am grateful to is:

Maiza Nunes da Costa

My message of thanks to them is:

Maiza, what a privilege it is to have you in this extraordinary experience. You are one of the strongest people I have ever met. Thank you for always trying to bring your whole self and your presence, even through many things. You are a sunflower, always guided by the light.

Something that is helping me build trusting relationships here is:

What helps me is to pay attention to our similarities rather than our differences. We are all connected by purpose and want to become a better version of who we already are. There's something powerful about encounters, and I take full advantage of them.
